Your knowledgeable tour guide will fill you in on the history of these spooky places and tell you first-hand ghost stories. Along the way, you’ll get to try out professional ghost hunting equipment, just like the pros use. Ghost hunting is an unpredictable business, so you’ll never know what you might see! Various tour options mean no two tours are the same. There’s even an option for those interested in dining with the departed.

Set out on the self-guided, walking tour See Art Orlando (SAO) to discover eight exquisite sculptures scattered throughout the City District and beyond. Supported by private philanthropy, See Art Orlando is the permanent installation of contemporary public art
sculptures in Downtown Orlando that embody the diverse fabric of the city. Internationally-renowned artists, including one from Central Florida, were selected to create works of art inspired by various elements of Orlando. The Downtown Historic Tour gives guests the opportunity to experience Orlando history firsthand. The walking tour begins at Discover Downtown (201 S. Orange Ave) and ends at the
Orange County Regional History Center. Leading the tour is our local Historic Preservation Expert, Richard Forbes. Join the Historic Walking Tour to see an assortment of buildings that have survived the test of time and adapted to modern uses. Tours operate the first Friday of each month, October through May and begin at 9:30 AM. City District Arts

The City District is a hub of theater and performing arts, featuring several venues visitors can catch local productions and traveling Broadway shows.

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is an arts complex in Downtown Orlando, hosting numerous shows ranging from Broadway musicals, ballet, Jazz concerts, and more! The magnificent glass venue features a 2,700-seat theatre hall for Broadway plays that are
performed several times a month, as well as a 1,700-seat venue for smaller events such as ballet recitals, orchestral performances and award ceremonies. replaced the Bob Carr Theater in 2014, almost doubling its size.

The Bob Carr Theatre once hosted icons like Elvis Presley, is now an icon in its own right. This historic landmark was renamed in the late ’70s, and has been extensively and carefully updated since then, too. But you can still see the building’s original exterior walls from the current lobby. And you can still catch wonderful shows and musicians from one of 2,400+ seats.

The Grand Bohemian Gallery: Step into this gallery, located inside the luxurious Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, and admire more than 150 works of art by local, regional and internationally acclaimed artists. Every piece has a story to tell and you never know where it will take you—or where you will take it. All art is for sale and refreshed regularly.

Mad Cow Theatre: Downtown Orlando’s destination for professional theatre. This local theatre offers a wide variety of shows from comedy performances to musicals. The theatre is one of Orlando’s most respected professional theatre companies, presenting compelling works of theatre for a wide-range of audiences, with a passion for both classic and contemporary plays and musicals from the best of American and World literature.

SAK Comedy Lab
Nowhere else in Florida will you find a place like SAK Comedy Lab. Since 1991, its professional ensemble of improv actors has entertained audiences with its unique brand of live improvised comedy. If you like the show “Whose Line is it Anyway”, you’ll like our show. In fact, SAK was a starting place for the careers of Wayne Brady as well as writers, actors and producers for “Mad TV,” “Saturday Night Live,” and sitcoms such as “Scrubs,” “The Office” and “30 Rock.”

The Terrace Gallery, open since the dedication of City Hall in 1992, features national and international artists and collections, as well as renown Florida artists. Movable freestanding walls offer versatility in an attractive space that is able to accommodate a number of unique
exhibitions. The Terrace Gallery reflects the City’s dedication to the arts, and it provides a space where visual artists can share their insight with the community.

The Mayor’s Gallery is specifically dedicated to Central Florida artists. This beautiful circular gallery space on the 3rd floor of City Hall has ongoing exhibits throughout the year, with each artist or collection on display for approximately three months.

The Studio-Flying Horse Editions is a collaborative research studio for visual artists at the Downtown University of Central Florida. A non-profit publisher of limited-edition prints, artist books, and art objects by internationally renowned artists, FHE offers unique opportunities for artists, students, and the Central Florida community.

The Amway Center has redefined the entertainment experience for fans and entertainers alike. This state-of-the-art arena is home to the NBA’s Orlando Magic, ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears while also playing host to the biggest names in music and entertainment.
